The Smile Designer
Adrienne L. Abosi, DDS
(Formerly, Dr. Perry)
Dr. Abosi (Formerly, Dr. Perry) founded The Smile Design to provide her clients with a custom and luxury experience during their orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Abosi has an abundance of educational and clinical experience, which she uses to provide her clients with outstanding service. She attended the Howard University College of Dentistry as part of the class of 2014. Dr. Abosi then relocated to New York City to complete a General Practice Residency with the BronxCare Health System, where she rotated through the 6 urban locations and participated in both the Ryan White Grant program and the Dental Faculty Development Program. She moved to upstate NY to practice independently as a general dentist and settled there until she was accepted into the Howard University Orthodontics Residency in 2017. Dr. Abosi spent roughly two years providing orthodontic care for youth in the underserved communities of Washington, DC. Subsequently, she graciously accepted a clinical faculty appointment at the Georgia School of Orthodontics. She currently serves as a Captain in the Georgia Army National Guard and provides diagnostic consultations to active-duty soldiers.
Dr. Abosi developed a desire to alleviate health disparities early in life due to her travel experiences and community service. She has held leadership roles in the American Dental Education Association and the National Dental Association. She has served as an ambassador for the Summer Health Professions Education Program and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Dr. Abosi has enthusiastically mentored countless high school and dental students who have approached her for advice, recommendations, and shadowing experiences. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, golf, reading, and culinary arts. Dr. Abosi’s top priorities include mindfulness, mentorship, and social responsibility.
